Senior Ryan Johnson shattered the Academy’s 10,000-meter record during a stellar run in the elite section of the Stanford Invitational on March 31. Completing the race in 28:20.70, Johnson knocked 13 seconds off an Air Force standard that had stood since 2009 and became the fastest 10K runner in Service Academy history, deleting seven seconds off the all-academy record that had stood for 26 years.
