Junior Texas Tanner had a stellar opening weekend at the Wyoming Power Meet on Dec 7 – resetting his own Air Force Records in the shot put and weigh throw. He opened the season with a 21.80m performance in the weight throw to reset his record and account for the fourth-best throw in Mountain West history. Tanner followed that with a winning throw of 19.17m in the shot put – an Air Force standard that also broke the All-Academy Record.
