Men's Tennis Falls to Utah

The Utes swept each of three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and take the early lead. They proceeded to win four of six singles matches to improve to 7-6 overall and 1-1 in the MWC.
Kevin Zenger and Nicholas Yip won their doubles match, 8-5, over AFA's Chris and Greg Zielinski at the No. 1 position. It was just the second defeat of the season for the Zielinski's. Sophomore Eric Pittman won at No. 1 singles for Air Force, defeating Utah's David Mercier, 6-1, 6-3, and senior Doug Fike captured the No. 6 match, 6-1, 7-6.
Air Force, 13-5 overall and 0-1 in the MWC, continues play in Provo with a match against BYU on Saturday, Mar. 24, starting at noon.
