Air Force Lacrosse Falls to Notre Dame

The Falcons remained scoreless throughout most of the game, with their only two goals coming during the fourth period. Notre Dame posted nine unanswered goals before Air Force would respond. At the 12:13 mark, C3C (SO.) Adam Gaudinski knocked in an unassisted goal, only to be followed by another Irish goal less than two minutes later. Notre Dame went on to score two more unanswered goals. The second Falcon goal came from the stick of C4C (Fr.) Mike Colosimo with an assist from C1C (Sr.) Ryan Hayde. The Irish scored scored again before the period ended, bringing the final score to 13-2.
Notre Dame outshot Air Force, 40-14. The Irish also won more faceoffs, 14-4, and more ground balls, 52-39.
The Falcons entered the game having just defeated Hofstra in a game at Johns Hopkins University. Air Force now fall to 3-8. The Falcons will be in action again in their first home game of the season this Saturday, April 14, at noon against Villanova.
