The men?s gymnastics team finished the season on a high note with a third place finish at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships and 9 USAG All-Americans, including two event champions. We got off to a rocky start on high bar and really struggled through the first 3 events, but pulled together for a very strong finish to secure the 3rd place trophy. Greg Stine and Jeff Andersen again led the way with strong performances. Greg scored 52.75 to win the All Around and Jeff scored 51.60 and finished 3rd.
We also advanced 9 gymnasts to finals where a 6th place or higher finish secures USAG All America status. Kent Reichle finished 6th on floor exercise and Greg Stine became our first pommel horse champion and also finished tied for second on rings, third on vault, third on horizontal bar and seventh on floor exercise. Jeff Andersen tied for second on rings, second on parallel bars and seventh on horizontal bar.
