Falcons Take Second At All-Academy Championships

The Air Force men's gymnastics team finished with a score of 196.50 for second place Saturday at the All-Academy Championships in Laguna Beach, Calif. Army took first with a team score of 206.85 and Navy finished third with a score of 195.475.
Senior team captain Aaron Jackson finished second in the all-around for the Falcons with a 50.85 behind Army's Dustin Greenhill. Jackson also tied for first on floor with Army's John Robella (8.85) and tied for third on pommel horse with Amy's Chris Kennedy (8.45). On vault, Jackson finished third with a 9.00.
The Falcons took third in last year's inter-service competition and finished with a team score of 201.250. Army captured the team title (203.225) while Navy finished second (201.500). Air Force returns to action Friday, Feb. 21, when the Falcons travel to Stanford to take on the Cardinals in a dual meet.
