Falcons Down Ball State In Final Home Meet

U.S.A.F.A., Colo.- The Air Force women's gymnastics team defeated Ball State University, 194.400-192.525, Sunday afternoon in the Cadet Gymnasium's West Gym in the Falcons final home meet of the season.

Air Force senior team captain Allison Todd finished first on beam (9.875), floor (9.925) and set a new AFA school record in the all-around with a 39.275 for an amazing home meet finale. Junior Laura Frank tied for first on bars with Ball State's Cassie Anthony with a 9.825, followed by teammates Todd (9.800), junior Becky Lewis (9.725) and sophomore Jessa Liegl (9.700). Liegl also finished first on vault with 9.825 to tie her career high. Frank tied for second on vault with a career high 9.775 with Ball State's Quiana Williams and Kim Cromer.

The Falcons travel to Denton, Texas March 14-16 to compete against Texas Woman's Univ. in a pair of dual meets.
