Falcon Women Travel To NCAA Regionals

U.S.A.F.A., Colo.- Air Force women's gymnastics senior team captain Allison Todd qualified to the NCAA North Central Regionals at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, April 12. Todd qualified fifth as an individual all-around competitor with a score of 39.040. Todd is also an individual event alternate on balance beam. Junior Laura Frank is an alternate in the all-around. The team failed to qualify after making an appearance last year as a team where they finished fifth with a score of 193.775. Individual event winners and the top-two finishers in the all-around from teams placing third through sixth at each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships at the University of Nebraska's Bob Devaney Sports Center, April 24-26.
Air Force qualified as a team to this year's USAG Collegiate Championships at Texas Woman's University in Denton, April 17-19. The back-to-back defending champions enter the competition as the second-ranked team and with Todd ranked first on balance beam, floor exercise and in the individual all-around.
