Air Force is 18-3 overall and 8-1 in the Mountain West Conference. Texas-Pan American, a Division I independent, is 11-13 overall.
Recent Results
Air Force won its third consecutive game and the 16th of its last 17 with a 51-50 victory over New Mexico Saturday at Clune Arena. Texas-Pan American won its sixth straight game on Saturday, defeating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 90-72, in Edinburg.
Coaches
Air Force is coached by Joe Scott (Princeton, 1987), who is in his fourth season with the Falcons. He has a 47-59 record in his tenure at Air Force. Scott came to AFA from his alma mater, Princeton, where he was an assistant coach from 1993-2000.
Texas Pan-American is coached by Bob Hoffman (Oklahoma Baptist, 1979), who is in his fifth season with the Broncs. He has a 65-76 record at UT-Pan American, and a career record of 396-170 in 16 seasons.
Series
The series is tied 6-all. Air Force snapped two-game losing streak to the Broncs with a 65-44 win last season at Clune Arena. UTPA won a 58-52 overtime decision two years ago in Edinburg, Texas.
