Air Force is 19-5 overall and 9-2 in the Mountain West Conference. UNLV is 15-9 overall and 6-5 in the MWC.
Recent Results
Air Force lost to BYU, 67-61, Monday in Provo as the Falcons dropped their second MWC game of the season. UNLV won its third consecutive MWC game with a 95-80 victory over Wyoming Monday night in Las Vegas.
Coaches
Air Force is coached by Joe Scott (Princeton, 1987), who is in his fourth season with the Falcons. He has a 48-61 record in his tenure at Air Force. Scott came to AFA from his alma mater, Princeton, where he was an assistant coach from 1993-2000.
UNLV is coached by Jay Spoonhour (Pittsburg State, 1994), who took over the head coaching duties on Feb 17 after his father, Charlie Spoonhour, stepped down for health reasons. Jay Spoonhour is 3-0 as the Rebels' interim head coach.
Series
UNLV leads the series, 16-2. UNLV defeated Air Force, 63-50, earlier this season in Las Vegas, handing the Falcons their first MWC loss of the season.
