Falcons Conclude Whirlwind Week at Maryland and George Washington

The chalk hasn't even settled at the Cadet West Gym and the Air Force women's gymnastics team is off again. The Falcons will be concluding their whirlwind "four meets in eight days" tour this weekend with stops in Maryland and Washington D.C.
Air Force, who has already competed in two meets since this past Saturday, will travel to College Park., to participate in a quadrangular with Pittsburgh, NC State and host Maryland, on Friday, March 12.
After a day to tour the historical sites of Washington D.C., including a tour of the White House, the Falcons will take on George Washington University at 1 p.m., on Sunday, March 14.
The Falcons are coming off of a stellar performance against Rhode Island at the Academy on Tuesday - the only home meet of this stretch. Air Force posted a 195.675, while Jessa Liegl set a new Academy record in the all-around. With a combined score of 39.475, Liegl topped the program's previous record that she already shared with teammate Laura Frank.
These are the final regular season meets of the season for the Falcons, who will be off to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championships on Saturday, March 20.
