The Air Force women's gymnastics team concludes its 2004 home schedule on Tuesday, March 9, when they host the University of Rhode Island on Tuesday, March 9, at 6 p.m., in the Cadet West Gymnasium.
It is the second time this season that the Falcons have faced the Rams. Air Force narrowly dropped a 191.050-190.225 decision to Rhode Island back on Feb. 8, in Kingston, R.I. The Falcons swept all individual event awards and Jessa Liegl took the all-around title.
The Falcons, who will be competing at home for just the third time this season, are coming off of a 196.300-192.450 loss to Denver on March 8.
Prior to the meet, the Falcons will honor their four senior gymnasts. Laura Frank, Erin Maguire, Tammy Ritchey and team captain Rebecca Lewis will be competing at the Academy for the final time in their collegiate careers.
