Falcons Conclude Competition at NCAA Qualifier

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Competition concluded for the three members of the Air Force men's gymnastics team that were competing at the 2005 NCAA National Championship Qualifier on Thursday, April 7, in West Point, N.Y.
Freshman Nathan Glandon (Abilene, Texas) scored an 8.450 on the floor exercise in his national debut to finish 33rd. Sophomore Ryan Stromstad (Corona, Calif.) posted a 7.850 on the floor to finish 42nd. He also tallied a 7.000 on the high bar to finish 41st. Junior Eric Peele (Bethel, N.C.) recorded an 8.250 on the parallel bars, en route to a 33rd-place finish. In addition, Peele garnered an 8.200 on the high bar to tie for 34th.
The trio will rejoin the rest of the squad at the USA Gymnastics Championships on April 15-16 in Ithaca, N.Y.
