Air Force defeated TCU, 72-39, Tuesday in Clune Arena for its 27th consecutive home victory. BYU downed New Mexico, 70-49, Wednesday in Albuquerque, N.M.
Coaches
Air Force is coached by Jeff Bzdelik (Illinois-Chicago, 1976), who is in his second season as head coach. Bzdelik returned to the college game last year after 15 seasons as a coach and scout in the NBA, most recently as head coach of the Denver Nuggets. Bzdelik has a collegiate career record of 68-40, including a 43-9 mark at Air Force. Bzdelik was the head coach at UMBC for two years from 1986-88. BYU is coached by Dave Rose (Houston, 1983), who is in his second season with the Cougars. He is 34-15 at the school and in his career.

BYU leads the all-time series, 43-12. The teams split a pair of games last season, with Air Force winning 75-59 at Clune Arena and BYU capturing a 65-59 victory in Provo, Utah.
