Ehn named AHA Player of the Week

U.S.A.F..ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force senior center Eric Ehn was named the Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Week as he scored five points in a two-game series with Holy Cross, Nov. 23-24.
Ehn had a season-high three points in Friday's 3-1 win over Holy Cross with one goal and two assists. He then had one goal and one assist on Saturday in the 5-5 overtime tie with the Crusaders. Ehn's five points in the series were a season-high and moved into 15th on the career scoring list at Air Force. He has 136 career points in 120 games and is the first Falcon to crack the top 15 in career scoring since Andy Berg in 2003. This season, Ehn has 15 points, five goals and 10 assists, in 12 games. He is tied for third in the league and 19th in the nation in scoring.
Ehn is the third Falcon this season to earn player of the week honors. Junior defenseman Greg Flynn was named the AHA Player of the Week, Oct. 22. Sophomore Andrew Volkening was named the AHA Goalie of the Week that same date.
Air Force, 7-4-1 overall and 5-4-1 in the AHA, is on the road this weekend as the Falcons travel to Springfield, Mass., for a two-game league series with AIC, Friday-Saturday, Nov. 30-Dec. 1.
