Team Notes
* Air Force closed out the regular season with an 18-15-4 record, the first winning season since 2018-19. The 18 wins tie (2023-24) as the most since 2017-18.
* Air Force went 8-4-2 in the final 14 games of the season
* The Falcons earned 11 road wins, the most since the 2017-18 season.
* Air Force had three conference road sweeps (Bentley, Army and Sacred Heart)
* In all games, Air Force led the AHA, and is sixth in the nation, in shots per game (34.1). AF had 30 or more shots in 12 of the last 14 games, including a season-high 62 at Robert Morris, March 8
* The Class of 2026, Chris Hedden, Mason McCormick and Holt Oliphant, was honored prior to the Army game on Feb. 21. The trio has helped lead Air Force to 64 wins over the last four seasons and have combined to play in 424 games.
* Air Force had three players with 30+ points this season (Hedden, 34, Stitz 32, Sajevic 32), a first for the Falcons since 2016-17 (Jordan Himley 37, Kyle Haak 33, Phil Boje 30).
* The Falcons had six players with 20+ points (Hedden 34, Stitz 32, Sajevic 32, Dawson 25, Gibbons 20, Cunningham 20) for the first time since 2008-09 when nine Falcons had 20+.
* Air Force had three players with 11 or more goals. The last time the Falcons had three with 11 or more goals came in 2021-22 (Gavin 16, Reim 11, Horn 11)
* Head coach Frank Serratore completed his 29th season at Air Force, and 33rd as a college head coach. His 539 career NCAA Division I wins (490 at Air Force and 49 at Denver) are the second most among all active NCAA coaches.
Individual Notes
* Chris Hedden was a second-team AHCA East All-American, a first-team all-league selection and was the AHA Defenseman of the Year
* Hedden led the team with 12 goals and 34 points.
* His 12 goals tie as the most by a defenseman since Bob Ingraham tied the school record with 14 in 1991-92.
* Hedden's 34 points are the second most of his career. He had 37 points (8-29-37) as a sophomore.
* Hedden's 34 career goals are third by a defenseman in school history and his 108 points are tied for fifth. He became the first defenseman to hit 100 career points since Beau Bilek (1991-95).
* Hedden's 12 goals tied for second and his 34 points tied for third in the nation for a defenseman
* In all games, Hedden tied for 10th in the AHA in goals (12), seventh in assists (22), fifth in points (34), sixth in blocked shots (63) and sixth in shots on goal (120)
* He was a five-time AHA Defenseman of the Week and was on the ballot for the Hobey Baker Award
* Dominik Wasik, from Superior, Colo., earned third-team all-AHA honors
* Wasik had four shutouts this season. In Air Force's conference era (since 1999-00), only four Falcon goalies have recorded more than four shutouts in a season (6 - Andrew Volkening - 2008-09; 5 - Billy Christopoulos - 2017-18; 5 - Jason Torf- 2011-12; 5 - Shane Starrett - 2016-17). His four shutouts this season are tied as the fourth most in the nation.
* Wasik started the last 32 games and led the Falcons to 17 wins. His 17 wins are the sixth most in the conference era.
* He finished tied for the league lead in shutouts (4), fourth in saves (790), fifth in GAA (2.47) and was named the AHA Goalie of the Week four times and AHA Goalie of the Month twice.
* Junior defenseman Nolan Cunningham was named third-team all-AHA. Cunningham was third in the league in points (16) and plus-minus (+7) among league defensemen in conference games.
