The Air Force Athletic Ticket Office released the procedures for any postseason games men's basketball games (NCAA and/or NIT) today. The procedures are outlined for both tournaments below.
NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds
Please find the attached ticket request form for the 2007 NCAA Men's Basketball tournament. Request forms are due no later than March 6, 2007. Indicate the requested number of tickets adjacent to the NCAA sites that you would be interested in attending. Tickets will only be available to the sites and sessions in which Air Force participates. Make note of the applicable order limits per site. Prices for each site are not known at this time. Submission of this form will be considered authorization to charge the applicable amount for tickets and service charge. At the bottom of the NCAA portion of the request form, you will find a box that can be checked to note interest in extra tickets if there is availability. Please note that submission of this form only provides a request for tickets and does not in any way guarantee tickets. Tickets will be awarded and allocated based on the Priority Point System. No credit cards will be charged until a berth in the tournament is awarded to the Air Force Academy and the site is determined. Applicants will receive notification of whether their ticket request is successful by March 12, 2007 at 12pm by e-mail. All tickets will be at will call at the site of the game. If your request for tickets to the 1st Round is successful and Air Force advances to the 2nd Round, your credit card will automatically be charged.
If Air Force advances to the following weekend, season ticket holders and Blue-Silver members can request tickets via phone by calling between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on March 19, 2007. The phone number is 719-472-1895 or 1-800-666-8723. If seats remain after 12 p.m. they will become available to the general public. Procedures similar to the first round will be followed if Air Force continues to advance.
Credit card payment is the only form of payment that will be accepted. Cash and checks will not be accepted.
National Invitation Tournament
In the event Air Force Men's Basketball is selected to host a NIT tournament game, the attached form will allow you to purchase your season ticket seats for that game(s). No credit cards will be charged until it is determined that we are hosting. Please return this form or call our office at (719) 472-1895 by March 6, 2007. You can purchase additional tickets for this game(s) with this form as well. Any additional seats will be allocated based on our Priority Point System. Should you purchase less than your normal season ticket amount; the remaining seats will be released to the general public and cannot be guaranteed to be available for any games we may host.
In addition, should Air Force advance and host multiple games you will be charged for and guaranteed your seats for any home game within the tournament. Due to very short times between games, all tickets for a NIT game will be available at will call. It is highly recommended that you pick up your tickets before game day to avoid long lines on the night of the game.
Credit card payment is the only form of payment that will be accepted. Cash and checks will not be accepted.
