North Gate construction to begin Monday

The Air Force Academy will begin reconstruction of the North Gate beginning Monday.

The three-month construction project will include a new guard house, a vehicle inspection area and roadway pop-up barriers.

Construction will occur from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Adjustments to construction during peak periods will be made for optimal traffic flow. Traffic for Tuesday's home basketball game should not be affected, but fans should plan on arriving early.

It is recommended that Academy personnel and visitors allow extra time when entering through the North Gate during this time.
