That mark was not only the second-best height by a collegiate athlete, it is tied for ninth on the Academy's all-time list. Junior Erik Mirandette finished ninth in the event after clearing 15'5".
Sophomore Kellen Curry placed seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.64, while junior Travis Picou clocked in at 21.30 to take ninth in the 200-meter dash and senior Nick Luina took 11th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.43.
The trio teamed with junior John Payne to clock 40.93 and take eighth in the 4x100-meter relay - the eighth-best time in Academy history. Payne, Picou and Luina also took part in the 4x400-meter relay with junior Kyle Meakins. That quartet timed 3:14.44 to take eighth in that event as well.
Sophomore Kirk Devine recorded a NCAA Regional Qualifying Mark of 170'4" in the discus to place seventh, while classmate Michael Kemp and junior Creighton Moorman finished 12th (152'1") and 13th (145'4"), respectively.
