The Turnaround * Air Force lost its first four games and averaged just two goals per game while allowing 4.2 * Andrew Volkening's GAA was 5.91 and his saves percentage was .805 * However, in the last six games, AFA is 4-1-1 and averaging 3.2 goals per game while allowing just 2.2 * Andrew Volkening's GAA in the last six games is 1.96 and his saves percentage is .936 Shots and special teams have been relatively the same in the first four games and the last six
Off to Better Starts * Part of Air Force's problem early in the season was playing from behind. Leaving on a Jet Plane * Air Force takes a break from its November road schedule for a couple home games this week * Starting last weekend at Canisius, AFA plays six of eight on the road. After this weekend against Bentley at home, AFA plays at Holy Cross, Nov. 13-14; and at UConn, Nov. 20-21
