Lisa Wong Earns Academic All-Conference Honors

WOODLAND, Calif. - Air Force junior gymnast Lisa Wong was named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team, the commissioners' office announced this morning (April 9) from their offices in Woodland, Calif. It is the second straight year that Wong has earned a selection to the academic all-conference squad.

Wong, who will be representing the Academy this weekend at the NCAA Regional Championships in Salt Lake City, holds a 3.27 grade-point-average in management.

To be considered for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes much hold a 3.0 or better GPA and be at least a sophomore with on full academic year completed at the institution prior to the season that the award was received. In addition, the student-athlete must have competed in 50-percent or mor of the institution's competitions.
