Jacob Houder and Travis Myers Named USAG Scholar-Athletes

All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). Updates to this website will be significantly reduced and delayed. There will be no video streaming of home athletic events.

Jacob Houder and Travis Myers Named USAG Scholar-Athletes

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Air Force juniors Jacob Houder and Travis Myers were named to the USA Gymnastics Scholar-Athlete Team, the division announced on Friday, March 26, during the team brunch prior to the start of the annual USAG Championships.

The pair was two of 22 athletes, representing eight schools, to earn the USAG Scholar-Athlete honors. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or higher.
