Patrick Duffy Named to Academic All-MPSF Team

WOODLAND, Calif. - Air Force junior gymnast Patrick Duffy was named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team, the commissioner's office announced on Thursday, April 25, from its office in Woodland, Calif. It is the second such honor for the Albuquerque, N.M., native.

Duffy, a specialist on the pommel horse, holds a 3.26 grade-point-average in electrical engineering.

To be considered for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be at least a sophomore with one full academic year completed at the institution and have competed in 50-percent or more of the institution's competitions.
