He was an assistant coach for the first nine years and was promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2012-13 season. Corbett helped lead the Falcons to five AHA Tournament titles, two AHA regular-season titles and five NCAA Tournament appearances. A native of Green Bay, Wis., Corbett played for Serratore at the University of Denver in 1993-94.
The Top Line
Air Force's top line of seniors LW Scott Holm, C Chad Demers and RW Cole Gunner returns in tact from last season. The trio comprised the sixth best scoring line in the nation last season with 114 points (41-73-114), scoring at least one goal in 29 of the 39 games.
The line started this season where it left off last season. In seven games, the line has combined for 39 percent of the team's points (8-12-20). The line has scored at least one goal in five of the seven games this season.
Last Time vs. the Chargers
Air Force and UAH last met in the second game of the Mariucci Classic hosted by the University of Minnesota, Dec. 30, 2012. Air Force won the game, 6-1. The members of this season's senior class were sophomores that season. Junior Ben Carey, a freshman that season, scored a goal. Cole Gunner had an assist in the game.

UAH is 0-7-1 overall this season, having earned a tie last weekend at No. 20 Northern Michigan (5-0-1 overall). UAH opened the season with a pair of close losses on the road at Colorado College (3-2 and 4-3). The Chargers were then swept in back-to-back conference series against Bowling Green (receiving votes) and at No. 13 Minnesota State. A young Charger team is comprised mostly of underclassmen with seven sophomores and six freshmen. Two sophomores have split time in goal. Carmine Guerriero has the best numbers with a .936 saves percentage and a 2.71 GAA. He was in goal for 1-1 overtime tie with Northern Michigan last weekend. Sophomore defenseman Brandon Carlson leads the team with five points (2-3-5). The Chargers have scored just 10 goals in eight games this season, including five in the last six games.
Series vs. UAH
