THIS WEEK: No. 18 Air Force (6-15 overall, 0-3 WWPA) hosts the No. 19 Cal Baptist Lancers (14-10 overall, 1-3 WWPA), Saturday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. at the Academy's Cadet Natatorium.

THE SERIES: Air Force and Cal Baptist will meet for the 29th time. The Falcons hold a 16-12 lead in the series that began in 1999. Last season, the teams split two games with the Falcons winning in the regular season (8-7) and the Lancers winning in the first round of the WWPA Tournament (15-12). Over the past three seasons, Air Force is 5-2 against the Lancers.
ABOUT THE LANCERS:Cal Baptist (14-10, 1-3 WWPA) posted a 2-1 record at the Rodeo Tournament, defeating No. 17 St. Francis (13-12) and No. 11 Brown (13-11). CBU has won five of its last seven games. Prior to coming to the Academy on Oct. 31, the Lancers host conference rival Loyola Marymount, Thursday, Oct. 29, in Riverside, Calif. Sophomore Tucker Angelo leads the team with 50 goals while junior Brent Teraoka has 49. Both rank among the conference leaders. Teraoka also leads the team with 36 assists.
A LOOK BACK AT LAST WEEK: Air Force lost three road games last weekend, including two close games in the Rodeo Tournament at Santa Clara. The road trip began with a 12-7 conference loss at No. 14 UC-San Diego. In the tournament, Air Force lost to No. 19 Harvard (9-8) and No. 11 Brown (10-8). Justin Harrison and Edward Smet each scored four goals on the road trip. Robby Stiefel had five assists and seven steals on the trip.
TOP SCORERS: Junior Robby Stiefel leads the team with 34 goals, 43 assists and 57 steals. Last season, he set a new school record with 56 assists and was an honorable mention All-American. Eric Curia and Riley Thomas are tied for second on the team with 28 goals. Thomas is second on the team with 15 assists and 30 steals. Goalies Max Benson and senior Caleb Guarino have split time in the net. Benson has made 139 saves in 12 game while Guarino has 87 saves in nine games.
