Jonathan Kopacka named AHC Defensive Player of the Week

U.S.AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force sophomore Jonathan Kopacka was named the Atlantic Hockey Conference Defensive Player of the Week as helped lead Air Force to a split with Colorado College, Nov. 27-28.
The defenseman from Lapeer, Mich., had four assists, a blocked shot and was a +1 in the series. On Friday, he had a career- best three assists in the 4-3 win over the Tigers at the Cadet Ice Arena. He assisted on Air Force's first three goals, including first assists on power-play goals by Max Hartner and Phil Boje. In the second game of the series, he had the first assist on Evan Giesler's goal that put the Falcons up 2-1 in the second period.
The Falcons (5-7-2 overall and 3-3-2 AHC) play a two-game conference series against Canisius, Friday-Saturday, Dec. 4-5, at the Cadet Ice Arena.
