Air Force (6-8-2, 4-4-2 AHC) hosts the Bentley Falcons (7-8-2, 5-4-2 AHC), Saturday-Sunday, Jan. 2-3, 2016. Saturday's game starts at 7:05 pm MT while Sunday's game starts at 5:05 pm MT. Bentley is tied for third in the AHC with 12 points while Air Force is tied for seventh with 10 points.
The Break
Air Force is coming off of a 28-day break for finals and the holidays. The break is the longest since a 28-day break in 2006-07. Last season, the Falcons had a 22-day break. Air Force's average break over the last nine seasons is 24 days.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on Xtra Sports 1300 as normal, but Sunday's game will be broadcast on KVOR AM 740.

Scouting the Bentley Falcons
Bentley is tied for third in the AHC with 12 points (5-4-1 in conference). Bentley has been idle for 21 days, since a series against Holy Cross, Dec. 11-12, in Waltham, Mass. Holy Cross took three points with a 1-1 overtime tie and a 2-1 overtime win. Prior to the Holy Cross series, Bentley won two of three league games by splitting a series with Niagara and winning a single game against AIC. Junior Max French leads the team with 10 goals and 19 points. French is tied for fourth in the league in goals and is fifth in points. He is tied for 15th in the nation in goals. Senior Gabe Antoni has started the last nine games and has a .925 saves percentage and a 2.39 GAA.
Series vs. Bentley
Air Force and Bentley have played 38 times and AFA leads the series, 22-10-6. However, Air Force is winless in its last five games vs. Bentley (0-3-2). Air Force's last win in the series came in 2012, 7-4, at Bentley. Air Force has won just one game in the series since 2010 (1-4-3). Four or the last 10 games have gone into overtime. In games played in Colorado, Air Force leads the series, 9-4-4. However, Air Force is winless in the last four games against Bentley at the Academy (0-2-2). Air Force's last win at the Academy came in 2009.
