
Falcons Close Out Regular Season at Arizona State

The Air Force women's gymnastics team closes out the 2015 regular season this week, when it travels to Tempe, Ariz., on Friday, March 13, for a dual meet with Arizona State. The meet, which is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m., will take place at Wells Fargo Arena on the ASU campus.

MEET INFORMATION
The Falcons' meet against the Sun Devils will run in conjunction with a dual meet between the Air Force and Arizona State men's programs. Live stats and video for the women's meet will be available via thesundevils.com.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
Arizona State is coming off of a tough loss to Southern Utah on March 6, where injuries forced the Sun Devils to send just four gymnasts up on three of the four events. ASU has surpassed the 194-point mark in five meets, culminating with a season-high 195.375 last month against Arizona. Taylor Allex holds the Sun Devils' top averages on the vault (9.850), uneven bars (9.7750, floor exercise (9.844) and all-around (39.088), while Stephanie Miceli is the team leader on the balance beam (9.800).
LOOKING AROUND THE CONFERENCE
With a Regional Qualifying Score of 192.250, Air Force is ranked fourth in the six-team Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The Falcons are also listed fourth on the vault (48.220) and floor exercise (48.535) in the team standings, while two gymnasts are ranked among the league's top 10 in the individual standings. Jessica Wallander is tied for fifth on the vault (9.800) and 10th on the uneven bars (9.740), while Kim McRobbie is ranked ninth in the all-around (38.225).
FALCONS TAKE THIRD AT HOME TRIANGULAR
Air Force closed out the home portion of its season on March 9, finishing third (193.225) at a triangular meet that included No. 18 Denver (196.450) and conference-opponent Alaska-Anchorage (193.825). Jessica Wallander and Annie Graft posted the Falcons' best placements of the night, as they finished in ties for fourth on the vault (9.825) and balance beam (9.750), respectively.
AIR FORCE NETS SEASON-HIGH AT DENVER TRIANGULAR
The Falcons tallied their highest score of the season (193.450) to finish third in a triangular meet with No. 17 Denver (196.925) and Ohio State (194.775) on March 7. Highlighted by a third-place finish on the vault (9.875), Jessica Wallander paced the Falcons on all three of her events, finishing sixth on the uneven bars (9.775) and floor exercise (9.750, tied with Alexandra Stych).
WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE FALCONS
Air Force heads to Anchorage, Alaska, next Saturday (March 21) for the 2015 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships against Alaska-Anchorage, Sacramento State, San Jose State, Seattle Pacific and UC Davis.
