WOODLAND, Calif. -
Four members of the Air Force women's gymnastics team were named to the all-conference team, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced today (March 23). Seniors Jessica Wallander and Kim McRobbie paced the group with two honors apiece.
The all-MPSF squad is determined by the gymnasts' Regional Qualifying Scores prior to the conference meet. The top gymnast from each of the six league school was an automatic selection in each event, while gymnasts with the next six highest RQS marks, regardless of team, earned at-large honors.
Wallander posted the quartet's top ranking in the overall conference standings, as her vault RQS of 9.815 was ranked sixth in the league. She also garnered all-MPSF honors on the uneven bars, tying for ninth with a mark of 9.755. McRobbie was the Falcons' automatic selection to the all-conference squad on two events, ranking ninth in the all-around (38.425) and 18th on the balance beam (9.665).
Fellow senior Alexandra Stych represented Air Force on the all-conference list for the floor exercise, ranked 13th with a Regional Qualifying Score of 9.775, while freshman Jamie Lewis earned at-large distinction in the all-around, with a RQS of 37.970 (12th).
