
Air Force Concludes Season at NCAA Championships

NORMAN, Okla. - The Air Force men's gymnastics team closed out the 2015 campaign this evening (April 10) in Norman, Okla., as freshman Arinn Wade, sophomore Tim Wang and junior Denis Aurelius concluded competition in the individual event preliminaries of the NCAA National Championships.
Wade tied for 15th on the pommel horse (14.450) during his first national semifinal meet, while Wang finished 17th behind a score of 14.300. Aurelius posted the team's highest score of the night (14.900) to tie for 22nd on the still rings and round out the Falcons' performances. All three gymnasts placed within the top half of their respective events.
Host and top-ranked Oklahoma captured its ninth team title with a score of 447.050, while Stanford and Penn State finished second (440.450) and third (439.500), respectively. The all-around title was also determined tonight, with Stanford's Akash Modi winning the title behind a score of 90.450.
