Air Force Trio Named Academic All-Conference

WOODLAND, Calif. - Three members of the Air Force men's gymnastics received academic honors from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation this morning, as executive director Al Beaird announced the 2015 MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athletes.
The Falcons were represented on the conference's All-Academic Scholar-Athlete list by senior Gared Chapman, classmate Josh Ramos and junior Denis Aurelius. It is the first such academic award for all gymnasts. The three academic honors are the most in a single season for the Falcons since 2012.
To be considered for an all-academic selection, student-athletes must hold a GPA of 3.0 of higher, be at least a sophomore with one full academic year completed at the institution and have competed in 50-percent or more of the institution's competitions.
