Falcons play four games, including Navy, Sept. 25-27

THIS WEEK: No. 16 Air Force (1-7 overall) travels to California for four games in three days. After facing Cal Lutheran on Sept. 25, in Thousand Oaks, the Falcons face service academy rival, 15th-ranked Navy, on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 9 a.m. PT in Malibu, Calif. Later that day, the Falcons face ninth-ranked Pepperdine at 11:30 a.m. The weekend comes to a close against No. 19 Whittier on Sunday, Sept. 27, at noon PT.
THE RIVALRY: Air Force and Navy will renew their service academy rivalry on Saturday, Sept. 26. The Falcons and Midshipmen have not played since the 2009 season, a 12-10 win by the Midshipmen in Annapolis. The teams have played 27 times and Navy leads the series, 21-6. Air Force has lost 10 straight to Navy. The last Falcon win came in 2000, an 11-7 victory in California.
A LOOK BACK AT LAST WEEK: Air Force picked up its first win of the season on Sept. 19 with an 11-8 victory over 13th-ranked San Jose State at the Nor Cal Tournament. The Falcons were 1-3 in the tourney. Robby Stiefel led the Falcons with 12 assists and added six goals and seven steals in the four-game tournament.
TOP SCORERS: Sophomore Garrett Fisk leads the team with 12 goals. Robby Stiefel is second with 11 goals. Stiefel leads the team with 16 assists and 27 steals. Max Benson and Caleb Guarino have split time in goal. Benson has 45 saves while Guarino has 41.
ROAD WARRIORS: Air Force plays the first 12 games on the road. The Falcons first home game is Oct. 3 vs. conference rival UC Davis. Air Force will also host Loyola Marymount (Oct. 16) and Cal Baptist (Oct. 31).
BEATING RANKED TEAMS: Air Force earned its first win over a ranked team this season when the Falcons defeated No. 13 San Jose State, 11-8, on Sept. 19, at the Nor Cal Tournament.
