Memphis Grizzlies add Dan Nwaelele to roster

The Memphis Grizzlies added 2007 Air Force graduate Dan Nwaelele to their active roster. The 31-year-old Nwaelele spent the last two seasons with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA Developmental League. In 53 games he averaged 12.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. He helped the team to the league final after they ended regular season as second best team.

Nwaelele was an NABC District 13 first-team honoree as a senior at Air Force. He was also named first-team all-Mountain West. Nwaelele later represented the United States at the World Military Championships in Klaipeda, Lithuania. He has been playing professionally the last nine seasons.
