WEST POINT, N.Y. – Three gymnasts earned event titles, but a young Air Force men's gymnastics team dropped a 422.650-417.000 decision to service academy rival Army West Point this evening (Jan. 29) in New York. The loss snapped the Falcons' eight-meet win streak over the Black Knights in duals.

Aurelius placed second to Braunton on the rings with a tally of 14.600, while Braunton finished fifth on the pommel horse with a 13.650. With a season-high score of 14.300 on the parallel bars, sophomore Jonathon Fornoff rounded out the Falcons' trio of event winners, as he bettered the field by nearly a half point.

The Falcons' lineup included a season-high 22 routines completed by members of the freshmen class, with four gymnasts combining for six top-five finishes.
