
Falcons travel to #18 Western Michigan

Air Force (6-3-1, 4-2-0 AHC) travels to Kalamazoo, Mich., to face No. 18 Western Michigan (6-3-1, 3-3-0 NCHC), Friday-Saturday, Nov. 18-19. Friday's game starts at 7:05 pm ET while Saturday's game starts at 8:05 pm ET.
TV/Live Stream
Friday's game will be televised by the American Sports Network at 7:05 pm ET. The #AFvsWMU game will be televised in the Colorado Springs area on Altitude2 (440 on Dish; 681-1 DirecTV; 105 Comcast; 691 CenturyLink).
Both games will be live streamed on NCHC.tv for a subscription fee.

Both games will be broadcast on Xtra Sports 1300. Both games are available online at GoAirForceFalcons.com. Jay Ritchie will call the play-by-play while Dave Toller will provide color analysis. Pregame show begins 30 minutes before faceoff each day.
Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan is ranked 18th in the nation in the USCHO.com poll. The Broncos are 6-3-1 overall this season with the only losses coming on the road at current No. 1 Denver (twice). The other loss came on the road at current No. 2 Minnesota Duluth. Last week, with UMD ranked No. 1 in the nation, the Broncos split a two-game series with the Bulldogs in Duluth, winning 4-3 in game one and falling 2-0 in game two. Matheson Iacopelli leads the team with 10 goals and 12 points. He ranks second in the nation in goals scored. Sophomore Trevor Gorsuch has seen the most action between the pipes, posting a 2.65 GAA and a .907 saves percentage.
Series vs. the Broncos
Air Force leads the all-time series vs. Western Michigan, 3-2. The teams have not played since 1988 when the Falcons defeated 10th-ranked Western Michigan, 5-2. Current assistant coach Joe Doyle was a junior on that team. The only time the teams played in Kalamazoo was in 1976 when the teams split a two-game series.
