THE SERIES
Air Force and Wyoming are meeting for the 111th time overall. Wyoming leads the series, 75-35. The Cowboys are 32-20 at the Academy, 37-14 at home and 6-1 in neutral site games.
Air Force has won five of the last seven meetings, including a 73-50 win the last time they two played at the Academy on Feb. 7, 2015. Wyoming snapped a two-game Air Force winning streak with a 64-52 win earlier this season in Laramie on Jan. 6. The teams first played on Jan. 25, 1958 in Laramie. Air Force won the game, 78-73.

Zach Kocur did not miss a shot on his way to 14 points and Air Force knocked off Mountain West Conference leader Wyoming 73-50 Feb. 7. in Clune Arena.
Kocur was 6-of-6 from the field and Hayden Graham scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Air Force, which shot 57 percent from the field and 50 percent from long range. Marek Olesinski had 14 points and Matt Mooney chipped in 12.
The Falcons built a 33-28 halftime lead, opened the second half on a 15-3 run and rolled from there.
Josh Adams scored 11 points and Jason McManamen had 10 for Wyoming. The Cowboys played without leading scorer Larry Nance Jr., who was out due to illness.

Josh Adams scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Wyoming past Air Force, 64-52, in Laramie, Wyo.
Wyoming, who led 31-23 at halftime, opened the second half with a 9-2 spurt to take its biggest lead of the game, 40-25, with 16:27 left. All nine points came via the 3-pointer from three different players. The Falcons responded with a 16-2 run to cut the lead to 42-41, with 10:45 remaining in the game. Wyoming hit back-to-back 3-pointers to push the lead back to six, 47-41, and steadily pulled away from there.
The Cowboys finished the game hitting 43.1 percent from the field, but hit 11 3-pointers and shot 39.3 percent from beyond the arc. The Cowboys also out-rebounded Air Force, 38-31. Jeremy Lieberman added 13 points while Jason McManamen chipped in with 10.
Air Force hit just 37.0 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from 3-point range. The Falcons hit just 54.5 percent (6-11) from the free throw line after hitting better than 80 percent in the previous two games. Trevor Lyons led the Falcons with 14 points, all coming in the second half after being limited with foul trouble in the first stanza. Hayden Graham added 13 points and three assists and Zach Kocur finished with 11 points, all in the first half, and a career-high eight rebounds.
Wyoming used an 18-2 run midway through the first half to take control of the game in the first half. The Falcons had build its largest lead, 17-13, with 9:46 remaining before the Cowboys used the spurt to take its biggest lead, 31-19, with 4:32 remaining. The Falcons closed the half with the final four points, all by Graham. Wyoming took the lead for good, 18-17, with 8:55 remaining in the first half.
AIR FORCE'S LAST GAME
Jaycee Hillsman scored 13 points to lead four players in double figures as San Jose State beat Air Force, 75-54, Saturday afternoon in San Jose.
Air Force opened the game hitting just two of its first 15 shots and had five turnovers while San Jose State's first five field goals were 3-pointers as the Spartans built an early 21 point lead, 26-5, at the midway point of the first half. The Falcons answered with a 12-3 run to cut the lead to 12 points, 29-27, with 5:27 left. Air Force got as close as 11 points on three occasions, the last coming with 1:51 remaining, 35-24, before the Spartans took a 39-24 halftime lead.
The Spartans out-scored Air Force, 12-5 to open the second half to take a 22 point lead, 51-29, with 12:28. The closest Air Force got after that was 14 points, 61-47, with 5:24 remaining. Brandon Clark added 12 points and eight rebounds while Cody Schwartz and Jalen James added 11 points each for San Jose State. The Spartans finished the game hitting 46.2 percent from the field and held a 38-35 rebounding edge.
Frank Toohey recorded career highs of 17 points and seven rebounds to lead Air Force. Zach Kocur added 13 points. The Falcons hit just 28.6 percent from the field and 23.8 from 3-point range.
FREE THROW SHOOTING UP AND DOWN
Air Force is shooting 67.8 percent from the free throw line this season.
The Falcons have hit over 80 percent six times while shooting under a 60 percent six times.
Air Force hit a season-high 85.0 percent (17-20) at San Jose State Jan. 30 in its last game. The Falcons hit just 62.2 percent (23-37) percent the previous two games.
LOUDER STEPS UP
Freshman Pervis Louder has stepped up recently. Louder is averaging 8.3 points and 20.8 minutes the last six games. He has hit 42.9 percent (15-35) from the field and 45.5 percent
(5-11) from 3-point range. He had five points and six rebounds at San Jose State last Saturday. Louder started for the first time in his career against Fresno State and responded with nine points and career highs of seven rebounds, three assists and 34 minutes. Louder scored 11 points and had four rebounds against Colorado State. He scored a career-high 13 points at UNLV and 10 points in 14 minutes and hit 2-2 threes at Utah State.
TOOHEY HAS CAREER DAY
Sophomore Frank Toohey had the best day of his career last Saturday at San Jose State. Toohey recorded career highs of 17 points, seven rebounds and 29 minutes. Toohey led the Falcons in scoring for the first time in his career and in rebounding for the second time. He hit five of nine field goals, including a 3-pointer, and all six of his free throws. Five of his seven rebounds were offensive.
