Four Falcons Earn CGA Academic Honors

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Four members of the Air Force men's gymnastics team were recently named All-America Scholar-Athletes by the College Gymnastics Association, while the 2017 squad was one of six programs to earn Honorable Mention honors for its overall GPA.

Sophomore Casey Branin, junior Fletcher Braunton, senior Chase Cannon and junior Jonathon Fornoff were four of the 65 gymnasts to receive second-team status. It is the second such honor for Cannon and Fornoff, while Branin and Braunton nabbed their first academic award from the CGA. In all, 151 gymnasts received All-America Scholar-Athlete distinction during the recent 2017 season.
