Falcons and Purple Eagles meet in Thursday-Friday series, 7:05 pm MT each night
This Week: Air Force (1-3-0, 1-1-0 AHC) hosts Niagara (1-3-0, 1-1-0 AHC) in a two-game Atlantic Hockey Conference series, Thursday-Friday, Oct. 25-26, at the Cadet Ice Arena.

Radio/Internet: Every game will be broadcast on Xtra Sports 1300 in Colorado Springs and will be available online at www.GoAirForceFalcons.com. The game is also available on TuneIn. Jay Ritchie will call the play-by-play while Dave Toller will provide color analysis. Pregame show begins 30 minutes before faceoff.
Notes from the Canisius Series: Senior Evan Feno netted his first career hat trick in the 7-3 win on Friday ... Senior Matt Koch had a career best three assists on Friday ... Senior Evan Giesler tied his career high with two assists ... Freshman Kieran Durgan scored his first career goal on Friday ... He had two goals in the game, scoring the game-winner and an empty-netter to seal the win ... Air Force's seven goals were the most since a 7-4 win over Canisius last season (Feb. 16) ... 17 of Air Force's 22 points this season have come from seniors ... In the 2-0 loss on Saturday, Air Force outshot Canisius, 34-18, the first time this season Air Force has outshot its opponent.
Scouting the Purple Eagles: Niagara is 1-3-0 overall and 1-1 in the AHC. The Purple Eagles opened the season by splitting a series with AIC. Last week, Niagara dropped a pair of games at No. 10 Penn State, 8-2 and 4-1. Freshman forward Dylan Mills leads the team with five points (1-4-5). Of the Purple Eagles' four games, three different goaltenders have started. Sophomore Brian Wilson started two and has the team's only win with a 2.47 GAA and a .894 saves percentage.
Series vs. Niagara: Air Force and Niagara have played 70 times and the Purple Eagles hold a 35-30-5 lead in the series that began in 1996 when both teams were independents. As AHC rivals, AF has a 19-8-2 lead in the series. As independents, the teams played 10 times and AF was 5-5 vs. the Purple Eagles. From 1999-2000 to 2005-06, both teams were in College Hockey America and played 31 times. Niagara held a 22-6-3 advantage. Since the 2010-11 season, the teams have both been members of Atlantic Hockey. Air Force had won six straight over Niagara until the Purple Eagles swept the Falcons, 6-3 and 5-2, last season at the Academy.
In games played at the Academy, Air Force leads the all-time series, 18-16-1. In AHC games at the Academy, the Falcons are 12-5 against Niagara. Two of those losses came in the 2014 AHC Quarterfinals as Niagara eliminated Air Force by winning the last two games in the series. Last season, Niagara swept Air Force, 6-3 and 5-2, at the Academy
