Air Force women's basketball is slated to tip off against Navy at 4:30 p.m. in Clune Arena
AIR FORCE vs. NAVY: The Falcons return to USAFA to take on service academy rivals, Navy, Dec. 7. Tip off in Clune Arena is slated for 4:30 p.m. MT.
SERIES HISTORY:
-The Falcons and Mids will be meeting for the 15th time
-Navy leads the all-time series, 11-3

LAST TIME OUT: Air Force closed the game on a 7-0 run but came up short of a comeback, falling to No. 20 Minnesota, 50-67, in Minneapolis, Sunday afternoon. The Gophers remain undefeated at 7-0.
Air Force was led by Kaelin Immel who scored 16 points and collected eight rebounds. She shot 50-percent from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line. Freshman teammate Briana Autrey finished the game with 13 points and the Falcons' highest field goal percentage (.429) on the game.

Air Force: Chris Gobrecht (USC `77)
- Led the 2017-18 team that yielded six new individual school records including the program's first-ever Mountain West Freshman of the Year in Kaelin Immel, who set four program-records highlighted by the most-ever points scored by an Air Force freshman in the Div. I era.
-Season highlights include the Falcons' first season-opening win since 2010-11, and Air Force's first victory over Army since 2007 and the program's best five-game start since the 2011-12 season.
Navy: Stefanie Pemper (Idaho State '92)
-Stefanie Pemper enters her 11th season as the head coach of the Mids in the fall of 2018. The two-time Patriot League Coach of the Year and the winningest coach in school history who worked with USA Basketball during the 2014 summer has generated a turnaround in the program that has made it one of the most successful squads in the league during her tenure.
Coach Gobrecht and Coach Pemper played for the same high school coach in Huntington Beach, Calif. Coach Joanne Kellogg will be in attendance for Friday's game.
AIR FORCE AT A GLANCE: Air Force is led by a pair of young guards in Kaelin Immel and Briana Autrey, who average 14.1 and 12.9 ppg, respectively. Immel is shooting .500 from downtown while Autrey shoots .508 from the field. Junior Kassady Huffman, who leads the team in rebounds (8.0 rpg) and blocks (15), averages 7.0 ppg in eight starts this season. Sophomore guard Emily Conroe averages 9.1 ppg while clocking the second-most minutes on the court (27.3.0 avg/mpg), only behind Immel who averages 28.9 minutes per game.
Autrey's freshmen teammates, Riley Snyder and Haley Jones, have already made significant contributions early in their career. Snyder has four double-digit scoring performances and averages 7.8 ppg-- she is the only freshman to have started in every contest this season. Jones averages 5.9 ppg and has been consistent on the boards (5.4 rpg), splitting her season total with 25 offensive and 18 defensive boards.
As a team, Air Force shoots .605 from the line, .375 from the field and .310 from the arc with a +3.3 scoring margin. The Falcons have out-rebounded opponents by 3.0 boards per game. The last time Air Force had four wins in November was the 2010-11 season.
A QUICK LOOK AT THE MIDSHIPMEN: Navy comes to Clune Arena on a two-game win-streak and a 3-3 overall record. They are 1-1 when playing on the road this season. The Mids are led by Jennifer Coleman who averages 14.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg and has 14 steals. Sophie Gatzounas is Navy's leading rebounder (8.2 rpg) and second highest leading scorer with 10.7 ppg. The Midshipmen average 64.3 ppg (+6.5) and shoot .372 from the field.
LAST TIME THEY PLAYED: Air Force dropped a 71-64 contest at Navy's Alumni Hall, Nov. 22. Emily Conroe paced four Falcons in double-figures, with 19 points.
Navy shot 50 percent from three-point range, connecting on 9-of-18 attempts. A 16-0 run in the first-half allowed the Midshipmen to hold off Air Force's second-half rally. Kaila Clark led Navy with 15 points and seven rebounds. Taylor Dunham added 14 points.
Conroe, playing in front of a large and loud contingent of family and friends, scored a career-high for points and also led the team with eight rebounds. The guard, who grew up 90 miles away in Fredericksburg, Va., was 3-of-3 from three-point range as well. Erika Chapman and Kaelin Immel scored 13 points each. Cortney Porter added 10 points, four assists and four steals.
