Air Force posted its second-straight opening season shutout by beating Stony Brook, 38-0, in Falcon Stadium. The Falcons were led by a dominant defense which held Stony Brook to just 75 total yards and four first downs which are each the second-fewest allowed in school history. Junior linebacker Kyle Johnson set the tone with a pick-six to put the Falcons in front, 14-0 in the first quarter. Garrett Kauppila led the defense with six tackles while Dailen Sutton and Lakota Wills added five each. Air Force rolled up 362 total yards, including 333 rushing. Junior Joseph Saucier led the way with 71 yards on 10 carries in his first-career game. Junior fullback Cole Fagan added 67 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries while quarterback Arion Worthman added 66 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
