
12th-Ranked Falcons Travel to Oklahoma for Tri-Meet

Air Force will compete against second-ranked Oklahoma and No. 11 Arizona State on Jan. 19.
The 12th-ranked Air Force men's gymnastics team hits the road this weekend, when it travels to Norman, Okla., to face second-ranked Oklahoma and No. 11 Arizona State on Saturday, Jan. 19. The meet, the second in as many weeks between the three teams, will begin at 7:00 p.m. (CT) inside McCasland Field House.
MEET INFORMATION
The triangular meet between the Falcons, Sooners and Sun Devils will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Oklahoma, while admission for the meet is $10 for adults and $8 for youth and seniors.

This is the second time in as many weeks that Air Force, Arizona State and Oklahoma have faced each other in competition, as the three squads all competed in the season-opening Rocky Mountain Open at the Academy on Jan. 12. The Sooners tallied 411.250 to win their 19th RMO title in 20 years, while the Sun Devils and Falcons finished fifth (392.750) and sixth (384.550), respectively.
LET'S MEET THE OPPONENTS
With its season-opening score of 411.250, Oklahoma is currently ranked second in the NCAA, while Arizona State is listed 11th with a two-score average of 386.400. The Sooners currently lead the nation in the team standings of the high jump (66.050), while holding a No. 2 placement on the floor exercise (69.550), pommel horse (66.750), still rings (68.850) and vault (71.900). Arizona State, which has competed in two meets already this season, is ranked among the nation's top 10 on the parallel bars (ninth, 65.450), high bar (ninth, 63.325) and pommel horse (10th, 63.175).
AIR FORCE IN THE RANKINGS
Senior Lukas Texeira currently leads the nation on the high bar after scoring a 14.550 during the season-opener. Jonah Urlaub is also listed among the top 10, holding a No. 7 placement on the vault with that same total. As a team, the Falcons are currently listed among the NCAA's top 10 on the floor exercise after combining for a season-opening score of 67.500 at the Rocky Mountain Open.
