Sophomore keeper Kainoa Likewise recorded six saves during his 90 minutes logged in goal.
The Spartans' strikes were recorded in the 79th and 89th minute by Willy Miranda and Suliman Khorami, respectively. San Jose State, who knocked off Utah Valley on Friday, recorded their first two-win weekend of the season.
Air Force's first shot on frame came from senior defender Julian Flores (23'), followed by Lathan Spadafora's shot on goal in the 30th minute. Freshmen London Aghedo and Elijah Bussey recorded the Falcons' second-half shots on goal in the 67th and 72nd minutes, respectively.
The Falcons return home for the final week of home field advantage, hosting Grand Canyon on Halloween (Thurs., Oct. 31) and UNLV on Saturday (Nov. 2). The matches are slated for 6 pm and 1 pm MT, respectively. Saturday's match will serve as Senior Day as the Falcons honor three seniors in team captain Nick Blessing, his twin brother Ben Blessing and Julian Flores.
