Falcons, on a three-game winning streak, will play four straight on the road
This Week - Air Force (3-7-0, 3-3-0 AHA) travels to Pittsburgh, Pa., for a two-game Atlantic Hockey Association series with Robert Morris (7-4-0, 7-1-0 AHA), Friday-Saturday, Nov. 22-23, at the RMU Island Sports Complex.

The Goal Light Does Work - Air Force returns the second fewest goals in Atlantic Hockey and the sixth fewest in the nation from last season. In the first seven games this season, the Falcons scored just eight goals and were 0-7. However, in the next three games, the Falcons scored 11 games and posted three straight wins.
Three Straight Dubs - Air Force's three-game winning streak is the longest since early last season when the Falcons swept Army and Bentley. The streak ties as the fifth longest active streak in the nation. Only Cornell (6) Boston College (5), Harvard (5), and Robert Morris and (4) have a longer streak.
Scouting Robert Morris - RMU is in first place in Atlantic Hockey and has won four straight games. RMU is 7-4-0 overall and 7-1-0 in the conference with 21 points. RMU swept Canisius, Nov. 8-9, and at Bentley last weekend. Junior Nick Prkusic leads the team with five goals and 12 points. Senior Justin Kapelmaster, a senior transfer from Ferris State, has started 10 of the 11 games and has a .948 saves percentage and a 1.89 GAA. He ranks third in the nation in saves percentage and 11th in GAA,
Series vs. Robert Morris - Air Force and Robert Morris have played 38 times and Air Force holds a 20-15-3 in the series that began in 2004. The Falcons are unbeaten in their last six against RMU and are 7-1-1 in the last nine against the Colonials. Last season, Air Force swept the two-game series at the Academy by identical 3-1 scores. In games played at the Island Sports Complex, Air Force is 7-5-3. The last time the teams played in Pittsburgh was Feb. 23-24, 2018 and the Falcons took three points with a 1-0 win and a 2-2 overtime tie. The three points earned the Falcons a first-round bye in the AHA Tournament. Air Force defeated Army in three games in the quarterfinals, and then beat Canisius (semifinals) and Robert Morris (championship) to advance to the NCAA Tournament where the Falcons upset No. 1 St. Cloud State in the NCAA West Regional.
