Air Force will look to follow up its record setting week at last year's championships

The Falcons concluded the 2018-19 regular season with a 9-9 dual record, while going 0-4 in its conference meets.

Freshman Caroline Wittich is ranked eighth in the conference in the 200 breast and 15th in the conference in the 100 breast. Junior Heidi Schellin is also tops in the MW in the 200 breast, with the 10th fastest time.
Finally, in the back stroke events, sophomore Kylie Stronko is 10th in the 100 and ninth in the 200. She set the school records in both events last season.
At last year's championships, Air Force set the program record for points, finishing with 572 points, good for a ninth place finish. Six members of the team earned all-Mountain West Conference honors. The six all-conference selections were the most since 2003. It was also the most since the league began honoring just one team starting in 2007.
All told, the Falcons set four school records, posted six NCAA cuts and had 36 swims that cracked the Academy's all-time top 10.
The four-day championship opens on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 11:30 p.m. MT when the league's divers compete for the one-meter springboard title. In the evening session, the 200-yard medley relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay will occur as well as the finals of the one-meter springboard.
