Air Force and Holy Cross meet March 1-2 at the Cadet Ice Arena
This Week: Air Force (15-12-5, 13-9-4 AHC) hosts Holy Cross (9-18-5, 9-13-4 AHC) in a two-game Atlantic Hockey Conference series, Friday-Saturday, March 1-2, at the Cadet Ice Arena. Friday's game starts at 7:05 pm MT while Saturday's faceoff is at 5:05 MT.

The class has led the Falcons to two AHC Championships, two NCAA wins and trips to the NCAA Elite Eight and has won 85 games. The school record for wins by a class is 86 set by the Class of 2018.
Scouting Holy Cross: Holy Cross is tied for eighth place in the league, 9-18-5 overall and a 9-13-4 in the AHC. Holy Cross is one of the hottest teams in the league, posting a 5-2-2 record in the last nine games. Last weekend, the Crusaders took three points from second-place Bentley.
Senior defenseman Johnny Coughlin and freshman Anthony Vincentare are tied for the team lead with 21 points. Freshman Erik Gordon has seen the most action in goal and has a 3.06 GAA and a .892 saves percentage. Senior Tommy Nixon has started the last three games and has a .922 saves percentage and a 2.45 GAA this season.
Series vs. Holy Cross: Air Force and Holy Cross have played 47 times and Air Force holds a 22-12-13 lead in the series that began in 1993. As Atlantic Hockey rivals, the teams have played 32 times and ore than one-third of those games (11) and have ended in a tie. Air Force leads the AHC series, 14-8-10. The teams played twice last season in Worcester and the Crusaders took three points. Since 2012 (16 games), Air Force has won just three (3-7-6). The Falcons are winless in the last four against Holy Cross with the last victory coming in Worcester in 2016. In games played at the Academy, Air Force leads the series, 13-5-3. The teams haven't played at the Academy since November, 2015, when they split a two-game series.
