Lacrosse Takes on No. 2 Yale in Tuesday Evening Contest

Air Force Lacrosse takes on 2018 National Champions, Yale, Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET
THIS WEEK
Air Force travels to New Haven, Connecticut, for Spring Break to take on 2018 NCAA Champions, No. 2 Yale, 7 p.m. ET, March 26 at Reese Stadium. The meeting will mark the third game between the programs since Air Force joined Div. I lacrosse in 1993.
THE SERIES WITH YALE
-Yale is unbeaten in the two-game series
-The series began in 2007 in San Diego
-Yale has outscored Air Force, 22-11, in two games played
-The Falcons' largest margin of defeat against Yale was eight goals (2008, 10-2, at Yale)
-Air Force lost by just three goals in the first meeting (2009, 12-9, in San Diego)
THE BULLDOGS AT A GLANCE
Yale is on a five-game wins-streak with their only loss coming to Villanova in the season-opener. The Bulldogs are coming off a 15-10 win at Princeton. Matt Brandau had 4-2-6, TD Ierlan won 21 of 28 face-offs and Jack Starr notched a career-high 16 saves as the Elis came from behind to get the win. Defenseman Chris Fake played a significant role on the Bulldogs allowing a season-low goal total while limiting the Tigers' most dangerous weapon to one score.
A LOOK AHEAD
Air Force returns to the Academy to host Southern Conference foe Jacksonville, Saturday, March 30, at 12 p.m. MT. The Falcons are 6-2 against the Dolphins in the all-time series and 2-1 when playing at USAFA.

-Tim Baker, who missed the first four games with an injury, has scored goals in four-straight games since returning. In his first two appearances of the 2019 campaign, he notched two hat tricks
