Air Force women's basketball looks to sweep the two-game MWC series with a win at home
GAME 19: AIR FORCE (4-14, 2-5 MW) vs. UTAH STATE (5-13, 0-7 MW)

THE SERIES
Air Force and Utah State will be meeting for the 17th time. The Aggies lead the all-time series, 11-5.
-The series began at USAFA in December of 2004
-Air Force has won four of the last eight meetings and two of the last three home meetings
-Air Force is 2-4 against Utah State when playing at USAFA
-The 2017-18 season marked the first time AF beat USU twice in one season
LAST TIME THEY PLAYED
Air Force's explosive fourth quarter propelled the Falcons to a 62-45 win over Utah State in Mountain West Conference action, Wednesday evening (Jan. 8) in Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. Air Force had four players score in the double-figures.
Junior co-team captain Emily Conroe had the performance of the night as she registered a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Conroe's defensive rebounding was exceptional as the guard out of Fredericksburg, Virginia, collected 11 defensive boards, helping to tie her season-high rebounding mark while setting a new career-high standard for defensive rebounds. Conroe also picked off a career-high six steals, flirting with a triple-double for the first time this season.
Air Force's top-three scorers, Kaelin Immel, Riley Snyder and Briana Autrey-Thompson, also put up double-figure scoring marks. Snyder and Autrey-Thompson led the team with 15 points apiece while Immel tallied 14.
Autrey-Thompson led the Falcons in shooting, hitting 83-percent from the field (5-6), and 100-percent at the free throw line (4-4). The sophomore point guard also registered a game-high four assists. Snyder, who shot 50-percent from the field (4-8), drained all six of her free throw attempts, marking her seventh perfect game from the line this season.
Air Force shot 47-percent from the field (23-49), and 100-percent from the line (11-11) on the game.
Sophomore guard Haley Jones helped round out the Falcons' solid performance, collecting seven rebounds and picking off a game-high four steals.
The Aggies were led by 6-2 senior forward Hailey Bassett who scored a game high 20 points. Bassett, who leads the league in blocks, also added six rebounds, three blocks and two steals to her stat line.

Air Force dropped a 60-40 Mountain West contest to Colorado State University, Saturday afternoon (Jan. 18) in Moby Arena.
Kaelin Immel led the Falcons in scoring for the third-straight game, dropping 17 points, collecting a season-high eight rebounds and picking off a game-high four steals. Briana Autrey-Thompson dished out a career high seven assists while scoring three points and picking off three steals.
Air Force's bench combined for 16 points led by freshman Kamri Heath's eight point performance, the second-highest scoring mark for the Falcons.
Air Force's defense was visibly disruptive for the Rams as the Falcons picked off 14 steals on the game, but the offense struggled to sink shots, missing all 13 attempts from deep and shooting just 29-percent from the field.
The Rams were led by SMU transfer Makenzie Ellis who scored 19 and collected eight rebounds.
IMMEL SETS THE STANDARD
Junior co-team captain Kaelin Immel is the Falcons' leading scorer, averaging 15.6 ppg. The native of Beaverton, Oregon, has 15 double-figure scoring marks and four 20+ point performances on the season, highlighted by a season-high 28 points against defending Mountain West champs, Boise State (Jan. 15). She is the fifth-leading scorer and has the ninth-best field goal percentage (.413) in the MW.
CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME LADDER
Following her 14-point performance at LBSU (Dec. 18), Immel became the 16th all-time Falcon to achieve 1,000 career points at Air Force. Immel, who now has 1,128 career points, is the 11th all-time leading scorer in program history and fifth leading scorer in the Division I era.
The next rung up on the all-time and Div. I scoring ladder is former teammate Cortney Porter with 1,162 career points.
Junior teammate Emily Conroe is following Immel's lead in the all-time points pursuit with 821 career points, a mark that ranks her 13th in the Div. I era, recently surpassing Jimi Blagowsky (810 points, 2011-15).
