The Falcons and Pioneers tip off at noon on Sunday in their second meeting this season

Air Force travels to Denver to take on the Pios in the second meeting between the squads this season. Tip-off is slated for noon on Sunday, December 20. The Pioneers (2-5) takes the court on a three-game losing streak with most recent loss coming from the Mountain West's Colorado State, 79-61, in Denver.
THE SERIES AGAINST DENVER
Air Force and Denver are meeting for the 63rd time in program history. The Pios lead the all-time series, 40-22. The last time the Falcons beat Denver was November 16, 2007. Air Force is 6-22 against DU when playing in Denver.
UP NEXT
Air Force opens the Mountain West Conference slate with a two-game series at Utah State on December 31 and January 2. The Falcons split last season's series with the Aggies, 1-1, winning in Logan and taking a loss at USAFA.
Air Force is one-of-six teams yet to play a league game. Colorado State sits atop the conference at 3-0 (6-1 overall), while Fresno State, Wyoming, and UNLV are 1-1 in league play. San Diego State is 0-2 in the conference.

Air Force dropped a 77-70 home contest to Western Colorado University, Wednesday evening (Dec. 16) in Clune Arena. The Falcons, who suited just seven players for the game, dropped to 0-3 on the season while the Mountaineers, who were playing an exhibition, remained at 3-0.
Junior point guard Briana Autrey-Thompson led Air Force with a career-best 26 points, her second time scoring a career-high mark in three games this season. Autrey-Thompson knocked down 69-percent of her shots from the floor (11-16), while also notching a game-high and career-best seven steals on the night. The junior out of Suffolk, Virginia, tallied five assists, four rebounds, and shot perfect from the free-throw line (4-4). She is tied for third in the Mountain West in scoring (19.00 ppg).
Junior teammate Riley Snyder put up a personal season-high 24 points on the game, knocking down three shots from behind the arc while shooting 35-percent from the field (8-23). Snyder collected a career-high nine rebounds and played a career-high 38:50 minutes on the game. The junior from Fruita, Colorado, shot 83-percent from the free throw line (5-6), and added two steals and a block to her stat line.
