
Cole Armagost Named WAC Diver of the Week

The senior had a first and second place finish in his two dives
DENVER, Colo. – Air Force Academy men's diving senior Cole Armagost was named the Western Athletic Conference diver of the week, the Conference announced Tuesday, Dec. 8. It is the first weekly honor of his season and the second of his career, the other coming in 2017.
Armagost took first in the 1-meter dive in a non-scoring dual against Wyoming, Dec. 3, with a score of 307.73, which is an NCAA Zones qualifying score. His score there was 27.30 points ahead of second place. He then took second in the 3-meter dive with a score of 285.00.
The Falcons are now off from competition until the New Year when they will play host to a tri-meet against Colorado Mesa and Colorado Mines, Friday, Jan. 8. Action inside the Cadet Natatorium begins at 5 p.m. MT.
