Air Force women's basketball looking for a conference sweep with win against Wolf Pack
GAME 22: AIR FORCE (4-17, 2-8 MW) vs. NEVADA (10-12, 3-8 MW)

WHERE: Clune Arena - U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo.
Air Force is coming off a Saturday break to return to the home court against Nevada, Wednesday (Feb. 5), at 6:30 p.m. An Air Force win would mark the first conference regular-season sweep in decade.
THE SERIES
The Falcons and Wolf Pack are meeting for the 21st time in program history on Wednesday. Nevada leads the all-time series, 14-6.
-The series began in 1980
-Three of the Falcons' five wins against Nevada were at home while two were on neutral turf and one was in Reno earlier this season
-Chris Gobrecht's first win at the Academy was Feb. 10, 2016 against Nevada

LAST TIME THEY PLAYED
Emily Conroe posted Air Force's first double-double of the season, leading the Falcons to a 68-61 comeback victory against Nevada in Mountain West Conference action, Saturday afternoon (Dec. 7) in the Virginia Street Gym. Air Force tallied its first-ever win against Nevada while playing in Reno.
Conroe had a stellar game as she scored a season-high 22 points and collected 11 rebounds while shooting 43-percent from the field and knocking down 8-8 attempts from the free throw line. Conroe led a quartet of Falcons with double-figure scoring numbers, a season first for this Air Force squad. The Falcons' 68 points was the most scored since beating NJIT, 68-48, on November 8.
Sophomore guard Cierra Winters had a career night, setting three personal career standards in just under 20 minutes on the floor, scoring 10 points, collecting six rebounds and dishing three assists. Winters shot 63-percent on the night and was responsible for two critical momentum swings on the game.
Riley Snyder and Kaelin Immel, Air Force's two leading scorers, had identically productive nights as the duo dropped 11 points and three assists apiece. Immel and Snyder, who now average 14.2 PPG and 13.7 PPG, respectively, have eight double-figure scoring marks apiece on the season. Immel brought her career scoring total to 990 points, just 10 shy of becoming the 16th all-time Falcon to reach 1,000 career points.
Nevada was led in scoring by Imani Lacy who tallied 13 points while teammate Nia Alexander led the Pack in rebounding with 14 boards. Nevada collected the 21 rebounds to Air Force's 14 in the first half; however, second half adjustments by the Falcons garnered a 25-18 rebounding advantage in the second half. Both teams snagged 39 rebounds on the game.

Air Force returns to California to take on San Diego State in a Saturday afternoon matchup. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. on February 8th, in Viejas Arena.
LAST GAME
Air Force came up short against Mountain West Conference front-runner Fresno State, 61-52, Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 29) in the Save Mart Center. The Bulldogs remain undefeated in the league with an 11-0 mark.
Riley Snyder, who sparked Air Force rallies on multiple occasions, led the Falcons with 16 points by way of three three-pointers, a trio of buckets and a free throw. She shot 46-percent on the night and added two assists and a rebound to her stat line.
Air Force guards Kaelin Immel and Briana Autrey-Thompson tallied 11 points each, both shooting roughly 37-percent on the night. Autrey-Thompson registered a game-high four assists and collected four rebounds. Immel snagged two boards and registered two blocks to round out her stat line.
Freshmen Kamri Heath, Allyah Marlett and Nikki McDonald combined for 10 points and eight rebounds, led by Heath's six points off the bench and McDonald's five rebounds.
The Bulldogs were led by Aly Gamez who scored 16 points and snagged a game-high nine rebounds. Hanna Cavinder tallied 13 points and five rebounds while Wytalla Motta scored 11 and collected six boards. Fresno State out-rebounded Air Force, 47-33, and scored 42-of-61 points in the paint.
CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME LADDER
Following her 14-point performance at LBSU (Dec. 18), Immel became the 16th all-time Falcon to achieve 1,000 career points at Air Force. Immel, who now has 1,172 career points, is the 10th all-time leading scorer in program history and fourth leading scorer in the Division I era. The next rung up on the all-time and Div. I scoring ladder is Alecia Steele with 1,237 career points.
Junior teammate Emily Conroe is following Immel's lead in the all-time points pursuit with 842 career points, a mark that ranks her 13th in the Div. I era, recently surpassing Jimi Blagowsky (810 points, 2011-15).
ACROSS THE NATION
Air Force is 14th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game (15.5 orpg), 20th in steals with 230 and 22nd in steals per game (11.0).
500 CLUB
Emily Conroe has 494 career rebounds, 347 are defensive, and 147 are offensive. Conroe will become this sixth Falcon in Div. I history to achieve the feat. She is currently seventh in the Div. I career-rebounding record book. Mollie Peters (1996-2000) is sixth with 498, while former teammate Cortney Porter is fourth with 571 from 2015-18.
